Magic Kingdom Rain

Very wet - looks fun doesn't it?! It was crowded, too! We were die hards though, since we wanted to see the fireworks show - so we stayed and rode some smaller rides/shows.

It was so cold and rainy all day today - uugh!

Day 4 - Chef Mickey

All the characters were dressed as chefs. We had breakfast at Chef Mickey at the Contemporary Resort. Goofy is "too goofy"!

We received another "million dreams" dream. While we were in line to see the show, a cast member gave us fast passes we could use right away, for front row seats. It was awesome! We got to meet Indy after the show!

We had lunch at the Sci-Fi drive-in. They play trailer movies from the old b-movies that were sci-fi. Too funny! Like my easter mickey ears??!

Day 3 - MGM studios

Timmy and Gabby ride the Tower of Terror. It was pretty scary - really!!

We had dinner at the Wilderness Lodge resort. Really beautiful building - big posts!

Day 2 - Magic Kingdom

We rode Space Mountain early in the morning. Since it is "the year of a million dreams", the "dream team" meeted us as we got off the ride. They gave us 4 lanyards with 2 special pins on. They only give out 10 a day in all the parks! Many of the cast members in the park were so jealous of us! I'm wearing one. The mornings are great at all the parks. We rode this and buzz lightyear a couple times each in the first hour.

Disney Day 1

We made it to Disney World for Spring Break! This is Friday afternoon. It was SO crowded in all the parks in the afternoons. We walked on a lot of animal trails and saw a parade this day. Luckily, we made it back for all the rides later in the week.

Spring comes early

Spring started in mid-March. Everything was turning green. But on Easter weekend we had 4 days of freezing and everything turned brown! Some of the trees and bushes have not recovered well, but others were fine. We had a lot less blooming this spring though.

Gabby set up a shop in the hallway. She was selling all of her artwork. They were all labeled with prices - it was cute!

We were really robbed of snow this year. This is all we got, about twice in February. It was beautiful to see though - falling gently through the woods.

We were hanging out at Lake James State Park in February - did some hiking around the lake.

These guys actually sound like Woody Woodpecker. It is a very loud "guh-huh, guh-huh, guh-huh" through the whole forest! They are big, too!
