More rhododendrons. 

Rhododendrons - grow wild all around the mountains. We have several surrounding our house in the woods. They bloom in the summer - most of July - very pretty - usually white to pink in color. 

Timmy's "extra-chocolatey" pirate ship - ice cream cake. Devil's food cake, chocolate ice cream, chocolate frosting, part brownie, and yes --- the fudgy layers in between! 

This is for all our Dallas friends who haven't seen rain in months (below average for 2 years) and are in stage 3 water restrictions. We often have daily afternoon showers - built up from the humidity all day. 

The gym at our school was built by the works project in the 1930's. It is made of the natural stones found around our area - really beautiful. 

Dusty on the dashboard on our long drive to NC! He liked the sunning spot and views there, after a few hours in his travel cage.
