Texas

Isn't it ironic - that Gabby is learing all about Texas this month in Kindergarten??!! I think we will miss Dallas. No more armadillos, Texas drawl, "what kind of 'coke' do you want", cowboys, longhorns.....

Perhaps, I can teach N.C. kids all about Texas things. People are always fascinated by 'Tejas'.

North Carolina Bound!

After 6 years of thinking, planning, hoping, and saving.... we are going to do it.... MOVE! We are so excited. Cindy has a job as a speech pathologist in McDowell County schools at an elementary serving pre-K to 6th graders. Timmy and Gabby will be coming to school with me! We have a contract on a beautiful home, up on a mountain, surrounded by woods. Did I mention we are excited!! At the moment, we are surrounded by boxes we are trying to pack, and worrying about all there is to worry about in moving.

This is my first attempt at a blog, so stay tuned for updates, as I learn how to do this!
